2025/2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), 50th Anniversary Celebration, Breakthrough Award Presentation with Staff Recognition Ceremony
On September 19, 2026, Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association welcomed staff, volunteers, board and governance members, donors, dignitaries and guests to the 2025/2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), 50th Anniversary Celebration and Staff Recognition Ceremony at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites.
The celebration marked 50 years of Carefirst’s commitment to the community, bringing together the community who have helped shape our journey. Following the AGM, the ceremony featured greetings from distinguished guests, the presentation of Breakthrough Awards, and recognition of our generous Campus of Care donors whose support continues to help Carefirst grow and serve the community. Long Service Staff Awards were also presented to our staff members, recognizing their dedication, commitment and many years of contribution.
The Breakthrough Awards was established to honour individuals, organizations and community partners whose vision, leadership, generosity and dedication have helped Carefirst overcome challenges, achieve significant milestones and advance the delivery of community health and senior care.
As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we look back with gratitude and forward with excitement. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey, making Carefirst what it is today—and to those who continue to help us serve, grow and make a difference in the community for years to come.
